One product, two occasions
Hot and iced service are not competing ideas. They are two expressions of the same drink. Hot lattes naturally fit morning rituals, coffee breaks and dessert pairings, while iced lattes can lead in warm weather, afternoon occasions and visually driven orders.
Keep menu language simple
A clear HOT / ICED choice is easier to scan than long explanations. One short flavour line underneath is usually enough. Keeping the same core description in both versions protects the brand promise.
Build a consistent menu architecture
Place hot and iced versions close together and keep size, add-on and garnish logic consistent where possible. This reduces ordering friction and makes staff recommendations easier.
Seasonal communication without changing the product
Lead with iced in summer and hot in winter, but keep the product name and central flavour idea consistent. Seasonal campaigns can then refresh attention without rebuilding the concept every few months.
